Graduated from the Santiago de Compostela University (USC) and in the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), he obtained his Ph.D in 2014. Since 2015 he develops his research as postdoctoral fellow at the Coimbra University-CEAACP. He has carried out research stays at the universities of Oxford, Durham and Toulouse. From an anthropological perspective integrated with the approach of landscape archeology his research has focused on the study of the social and territorial organization of the Iron Age communities and their transition to Roman domination. He has also developed studies on the structure of Roman provincial societies, paying special attention to the organization of production and in particular to gold mining.
